The Master Kit

NP435 Transmission Master Rebuild Kit

Our NP435 rebuild kit is like no other on the market. They are informed and curated by the hundreds of builds we have done on these in our own shop. Included are all the gaskets, synchros, bearings, spacers, shims, shoes, pins, retaining rings, seals and selective shims needed to do a proper rebuild. Additionally, our included instructions are second to none.

Top shifter cover rebuild kits and shift tower rebuild kits are included.

NP435 Transmission Master Rebuild Kit

*Dodge 435 input bearings changed back and forth through their production years. The earlier ones (starting in 1962-) generally used a deep ball roller bearing input. They switched to a tapered input bearing and cup around 1969, which version persisted until the 1980's. In about 1986, the ball roller bearing style returned.

Rebuild Requirements

It is common for our customers to do top-level rebuild work, using good methods and by following our included instruction guide.

We suggest the rebuilder have access to a set of snap ring pliers and a small arbor press, in addition to standard shop tools.

NP435's have two available finger lengths, one for the shorter, long throw top cover, and one for taller, short throw top cover. Choose you finger length accordingly when selecting a new stick in Related Products, below.
