Novak offers two popular styles of shifter kits for the New Process transfer cases that aid in conversion and factory Jeeps, solving the core design problems and enable smoother and significantly more reliable shifting:
The #SK2X: The Direct Linkage / Builder's Shifter Kit for YJ / XJ / MJ / TJ / ZJ Jeeps
Novak's #SK2X kit is our original though very evolved direct linkage assembly for the Jeep NP207, NP231 and NP242 transfer cases. It is geared primarily towards custom style installations in all Jeeps with the above transfer cases, but especially YJ Wranglers.
#SK2XC: The XJ / MJ / TJ NP231 & NP242 Cable Shifter Kit
Novak's #SK2XC kit is our cable shifter assembly built for NP231 and NP242 transfer cases in the TJ Wrangler and XJ / MJ Cherokees, with the priorities of ease of installation and smooth-as-silk shifting for both factory and conversion situations.
#SK3XR: The TJ / LJ NP241OR Cable Shifter Kit
Novak's #SK3XR kit is our cable shifter assembly built for the NP241OR "RockTrac" transfer cases in the TJ Wranglers. It will also work in XJ / MJ Cherokees that have been retrofitted with this transfer case. Our design priorities were for of ease of installation and smooth-as-silk shifting for both factory and conversion situations.
