Easy and professional looking air intake ducting for fuel-injected engine conversions are here, for 1945-2006 Jeeps, as well as JK-specific cold air intake boxes.
These 4" diameter components are the most commonly used sizes for Vortec and other Gen. III intakes.
These thick-wall elbows and aluminum tubing make building a structurally sound and leak-free intake system a straightforward task.
The elbows come in 90 degree and 45 degree bends.
The hose clamps are the strongest style available. Standard (off-the-shelf) hose clamps can be used, but for the heavier portions of the intake - such as the joints just off the throttle body and to the MAF sensor - we recommend this style of clamp.
The aluminum tubing comes in 6" contiguous increments and can be easily cut to best match your installation. Once your ducting is routed and installed, you can follow up with any variety of intake air cleaner assembly, such as AEM, K&N, Airaid, Spectra and others.
Instead of an integrated, tubular Mass Air Flow (MAF) unit, GM Generation IV engines use a modular MAF cassette that is inserted into the intake air pathway. We have constructed this version of our air intake tube with a receiver for your Gen IV MAF. This kit is identical to our popular Gen III air intake kit, excepting the tube design.
Top off your V8 converted JK with our powder coated aluminum cold air intake. Nesting in the front passenger side of the engine bay, this enclosure helps keep engine heat from recycling back to your intake. The lid is secured with 6 allen bolts with embedded nut-serts underneath for easy removal. The base includes pins for easy installation into the stock airbox mounts. The lid includes a circular cutout for the power steering reservoir fill cap.
