Novak's weld-in engine mounts provide strength and a precise GM Gen V engine installation into 1980-1991 FSJ Jeeps.

For earlier FSJ Jeeps (1960s-70s Gladiators, Cherokees, Wagoneers), use #MMX-WG5 mounts.

Installation

This kit bolts into place, and we recommend a weld on the top lip and optionally on the sides for added strength.

Strength

Built with thick 3/16" laser-cut, CNC-formed steel, these boxed design mounts are tough enough for high-output V8s.

Vibration Isolation

Each kit includes Novak's high-grade urethane bushings for the best mix of engine isolation and support. 5/8" bolts retain the setup securely.

Compactness

The compact geometry clears factory steering, pillow blocks, and exhaust headers.

Engine Mount Finish

Paint or coat the frame-side brackets after welding. Engine plates are rust-protected and can be painted as desired.

Compatible Jeeps

All 1980-1991 FSJ Jeeps: Wagoneers, Cherokees, and J-Trucks.

Designed for ideal clearance between the brake booster and heater box. Test fit with coil packs prior to final welding. Brake booster swaps or coil relocation brackets may be required in some models.

Compatible Engines

Fits GM Gen V (LT-series) V8 engines.
