FX3300 Series Electric Cooling Fans
with
Integrated Shrouds
Engineered through decades of real-world Jeep conversion experience, the FX3300 Series electric fans with integrated shrouds are precision-fit to our Novak KryoFlow radiators. These assemblies deliver the most efficient and effective cooling performance we've ever achieved in converted Jeeps.
Each fan and shroud assembly is precision-built to integrate seamlessly with Novak KryoFlow conversion radiators. This tight, custom fit maximizes airflow efficiency and heat extraction—both when the fan is running and when the vehicle is moving at speed.
Compared to unshrouded fans, our integrated designs increase airflow through the radiator by 40-50%. The shroud captures more radiator surface area and focuses airflow through a tighter exit zone, enhancing both active and passive cooling.
Behind that, we've attached a powerful world class Maradyne® 16" S-blade fan (9" for the XJ fan below) to pull a constant large volume of air through the radiator, ensuring optimal cooling. They are world-class built and feature a 3-year product warranty.
These shrouds are designed exclusively for Novak KryoFlow radiators. Fitment to other radiators is not supported or recommended.

Installation Requirements
When ordered with its matching radiator, your fan and shroud will arrive pre-installed—ready to drop in.
If installing separately:
- Requires a rivet gun and #11 drill bit for 3/16" rivets
- Fan removal requires 7/16" wrench or socket
- Electrical connections can be crimped or soldered
- Ensure wire gauge is appropriate for the fan's amperage draw
- Always wear eye protection and observe general safety protocols during installation
Fan Control Recommendation
For modern fuel-injected engines, the fan should be controlled by the ECM via a relay—this is how we configure our own harnesses, using heavy-duty 70-amp relays.
For carbureted or non-ECM setups, we offer standalone sensor kits above, or you may use your own system. Just be sure the switch and wiring can handle the full current draw.
Some users opt to add a manual bypass switch for deep water crossings. While this can damage lightweight fans, we've seen no failures with our heavy-duty S-blade or SPAL units.
