GM Engines Conversion Radiator

Full Size Jeep SJ's, 1962-1991

Full Size Jeep conversion radiator

This radiator features two, one-inch aluminum rows and a cross-flow, double-pass design. The integrated brackets will position the radiator in the optimum position. The right (passenger side) inlet / outlet design is generally a better fit for GM Gen III+ engine hose routing.

This radiator is 28 " wide by 19 " tall x 2-1/4" thick.

The side bracketry matches the existing holes provided in the factory Jeep radiator supports with no drilling required.

For Chevy Gen I-II Small Block Engines

This is our Chevrolet Small Block and Big Block version of our FSJ radiator. It features a top passengers inlet and bottom drivers outlet.

For GM Gen III+ LS Vortec Engines

This is our GM Gen III+ version of our FSJ radiator. It features a top passenger inlet and bottom passengers outlet.

For Ford & AMC Engines

This is our AMC and Ford V8 version of our FSJ radiator. It features a top drivers inlet and bottom passengers outlet.

This is the overflow tank we reach for when doing a conversion in pretty much any Jeep. We love the stainless steel construction, simplicty and ease of mounting. They take up little room and can tuck into a variety of locations. It will outlast all of those cheap plastic ones from the factory.

Installation Requirements

Novak Radiator in a Jeep Wagoneer

Typical mechanics hand tools along with the appropriate hoses, clamps and coolant required with a normal radiator swap. After installing this upgrade radiator, we recommend that the installer should verify fan-to-radiator clearance and engine mount integrity before operating the Jeep.

Radiator Warranty Policy

Our radiators come with a 1-year / 100% warranty for defects in materials or workmanship, which is prorated and Novak will cover the cost as follows:

  • 1 year, 100%
  • 2 years, 75%
  • 3 years, 50%
  • 4 years, 25%

The above does not include incoming shipping of your radiator to Novak.

Coverage can be denied if it is determined that:

  • Abuse has occured; no radiator can withstand shoddy installation or debris striking the radiator
  • Electrolysis has occurred due to failure to ground the radiator to the frame
  • Overpressured. We do not recommend exceeding 16psi on the cap
