HD Truck Style Transmissions
SM420
Sourced from GM trucks. Has the deepest first gear, is compact and is compatible between many engines and transfer cases.
NP435
Sourced from Ford & Dodge trucks, this strong, innovative transmission is a prime candidate for many Jeeps.
SM465
Sourced from GM trucks, the SM465 is extremely strong and refined, and is one of the top conversion transmissions being installed.
T18 / 19
Sourced from Ford, Jeep and IH trucks, the T18 and T19 are conversion legends and always offer great service.
NV4500
Sourced from GM and Dodge trucks, the NV4500 features overdrive. It is a more challenging installation, but very viable in some scenarios.
Three-Speeds, Four-Speeds & Five-Speeds
T90
The legendary T90 three-speed can be married, in simple fashion, to the Dana 20.
T176
As found in CJs, the medium-duty T176 is a good four-speed to install into a Dana 18 or Dana 20 equipped Jeep, where a deep first gear is not required.
AX15
As found in many Jeeps, the AX15 is a strong, overdriven five-speed that can be retrofitted into Jeeps that have the Dana 18, 20 & 300 transfer cases.
NV3550
The NV3550 is a tough, overdriven five-speed and can be retrofitted into some Jeeps that have the Dana 18, 20 & 300 transfer cases.

700R / 4L60E
As sourced from GM vehicles, the overdriven 700R4 is a prime conversion transmission for CJ7 and longer Jeeps.
4L60E
As sourced from GM Gen. III vehicles, the 4L60E is the pinnacle of strength and refinement in and overdriven automatic.
4L80E
As sourced from GM Gen. I-III vehicles, the 4L80E is the takes everything awesome about the TH400, and adds overdrive and a lock-up converter to it.
6L80
As sourced from GM Gen. IV vehicles, the 6L80 is the best-of-breed six-speed carrying GM into a new era.
AW4
The AW4 is found in Jeeps behind the 4.0L engine, and can be installed into longer Jeeps against the Dana or FSJ New Process transfer cases.
