At Novak, we strictly protect all of the information you submit to us. We greatly dislike spam and phone solicitations, and as such the information you give us stays between you and us. We'll only use your contact information to get in touch with you about your order if the need arises. We may disclose your contact details to the relevant shipping agent for the purpose of contacting you if required.

Note that we may use your address in-house to send you instructions, invoices, stickers or catalogs.

This website uses both session cookies and persistant cookies to identify your computer and retrieve your webcart data. We also utilize non-identifying information to better understand how our customers use our website, and generate sales metrics. Our online ordering system is fully secure, featuring high-encryption and a robust, SQL-powered database. All your ordering information is processed and protected by secure servers. This information cannot be read by any agent between your computer and our systems, ensuring a maximum in security. Novak and its associates hold your information with responsibility and integrity.

Returns & Cancelled Orders

If you need to return any stock products you've purchased, you may return them perfectly unused in 30 days for a full refund less the 15% restocking fee. Shipping and handling are non-refundable. Returns received 30 days after purchase are subject to a 25% restocking fee, or alternatively, in-store credit. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

Any and all returns must be accompanied by an RMA number. We will reject any customer return that is not authorized. you may contact us by phone or e-mail to obtain an RMA number. Any shipping damage sustained to returned items is the responsibility of the customer, so please package these items well. Items must be received within 30 days of issuance of an RMA. Individuals can expect to receive a refund posted to their credit cards or a refund check mailed within two weeks or less of reception of your returned item. Returns or cancellations on custom items made to customer specifications, non-stock items, or packages may be cancelled or returnable only at the discretion of Novak.

Novak Warranty

All Novak products are guaranteed by a warranty against defects in materials or workmanship. Novak will not be liable for any consequential, incidental, or punitive damages arising from the use of this product. Customer's expenses, third-party labor and parts expenses, shipping expenses and all other unforeseen expenses are not covered.

Our warranty does not cover product damages that may have resulted from normal wear and tear or misuse/abuse of the product and can be denied if Novak reasonably determines that damage occurred due to: improper installation, poorly engineered shackle reversals, inadequate cross member mounting ("hard mounting"), misaligned bellhousings, slipping or misadjusted clutches, abuse, normal wear and tear, water damage or use of improper transmission fluids, other customer errors not listed as determined by Novak.

Novak may guarantee Novak-manufactured products only. Other products as sold by Novak but not manufactured by Novak may be covered by their own warranties. 4l60 and 4L80 transmissions are not covered under our warranty if they are controlled by any Holley controller.

Novak products and procedures have been designed for off-highway applications only. Installation on a vehicle intended for use on public roads may violate U.S., Canadian, state or provincial laws and regulations including those related to emissions and vehicle safety standards. In addition, installation of Novak products may adversely affect the warranty coverage on your vehicle.

If your Novak-manufactured conversion components ever fail despite proper installation, we'd like to know about it and work with you. Our kits have been in use for decades and even our earliest components are still in service in their Jeeps today. We are committed to supporting our customers in their purchases. We believe that your Novak components are made to the highest standards in the conversion industry.

Novak Warranties are Limited and non transferable, starting from a product’s ship date.

Engines, Transmissions, and Transfer Cases

Powertrain rotating assemblies have a 1 year warranty against defects in materials or workmanship, while engine accessories are covered under a 90 day warranty. It is the customer’s responsibility to properly lubricate all applicable components prior to use, oil is drained prior to shipping. Removal of a torque converter from an automatic transmission voids Novak’s warranty. Transmission coolers must be replaced before installing Novak automatic transmissions, proof or new cooler must be provided before a warranty will be considered. Evidence must be provided that Throttle Valve and Kick Down Cables are installed and properly adjusted on TH350 and 700R4 transmissions.

We check all powertrain assemblies to the fullest possible extent prior to shipment. Engines are run but A/C compressors and power steering pumps are not able to be included in these tests. Transmissions are run on our engine dyno but Gen IV 6L80, TH400 mated to quadratrac transfer cases and industrial transmissions are not able to be tested.


Our radiators come with a 1-year warranty for defects in materials or workmanship. Please note that evidence of electrolytic corrosion will void this warranty. If a warranty claim is made within the first year of purchase, 100% of the cost will be covered, minus the cost of shipping. If a warranty claim is made within the second year, 75% of the cost will be covered, minus the cost of shipping. If a warranty claim is made within the third year, 50% of the cost will be covered, minus the cost of shipping.


All items bought as new are inspected and leave our facility in factory new condition unless specified on sales documentation and are packaged with experience and excellent care. All items are shipped with insurance for full invoice value.

Any items damaged in shipping must be reported within 10 days of delivery. It may be the buyers responsibility to contact the parcel company for any damage claims.

Customs & Duties

Customers are responsible for their own country's customs, duty and import fees. Novak may assist with standard paperwork preparation for export. Customers should be aware that they may have rights to reduced customs fees based on treaties in place between countries to minimize import taxes on automotive parts.

The Novak website is a tremendous informational resource and every attempt at informational accuracy has been made. Novak grants you a limited license to access and use this website only in accordance with and for the purposes set for in these Terms and Conditions. The information contained on this website, quotes, instructions or invoices is for guidance only, and does not guarantee or constitute a warranty of fitness, applicability or compatibility with your particular project. Novak representatives oral or written statements do not constitute warranties. Suitability of parts or information for an application is fully the responsibility of you, the reader or buyer.

In the event that these policies differ or contradict any other written or verbal information from Novak, customer agrees that these policies supersede and prevail over all others.

Pricing Information & Availability Disclaimers

Novak reserves the right to make adjustments to pricing, products and service offerings for reasons including, but not limited to, changing market conditions, product discontinuation, Product unavailability, manufacturer price changes, supplier price changes and errors in advertisements. All orders are subject to product availability and the availability of personnel to perform and fulfill any services. Therefore, Novak cannot guarantee that it will be able to fulfill customer’s orders. Any estimates or other information provided by Novak are for planning purposes only.

Liability Limitations

Novak shall bear no liability for any loss, damage or injury, either to a person or to property, resulting from the direct or indirect use of any of Novak's products, or inability by the buyer to determine proper use, loads or application of Novak products. With the exception of the limited liability warranty set forth above in section, Novak shall not be liable for any claims, demands, injuries, damages, actions or causes of action whatsoever to buyer arising out of or connected with the use of any products or information provided by Novak. Novak shall not have any obligation with respect to the Product or any part thereof, whether based on contract, tort, strict liability or otherwise. The buyer assumes all risks and liability from the use of product or information. Novak will not be liable for any consequential, incidental, or punitive damages arising from use of Novak products or information.

Any claim related to all information, products or services provided by Novak will be governed by the laws of Utah without regard to conflicts of law rules. In the event of any dispute regarding Novak products, services or this web site, the buyer irrevocably consents to exclusive personal jurisdiction and venue in the courts in Cache County, Utah, in connection with any dispute arising under a state claim and to the Federal District courts arising under a Federal claim and the customer waives the right to change venue. Except in the case of nonpayment, neither party may institute any action in any form arising out of these Terms and Conditions more than one (1) year after the cause of action has arisen. The rights and remedies provided Seller under these Terms and Conditions are cumulative, are in addition to, and do not limit or prejudice any other right or remedy available at law or in equity.

In the case of Third Party Services (i.e., shipping carriers, etc.) the Third Party shall be the party responsible for providing the services to the Customer and the Customer will look solely to the Third party for any loss, claims, or damages arising from or related to the provision of such third party services. Customer hereby releases Novak from any and all claims arising from or relating to the purchase or provision of any such Third Party Services. Any amounts, included but not limited to, taxes, associated with Third Party Services which may be collected by Novak will be collected solely in the capacity as an independent sales agent.

In the event that these policies conflict with any other written or verbal documentation from Novak, these policies herein shall supercede and take precedence over all others.
